    This season marks the third collaboration between KARHU and Engineered Garments, introducing the new KARHU x Engineered Garments Mestari Slip On – Tobacco / Tobacco. Rooted in KARHU’s extensive archive, this latest release reworks the classic Mestari silhouette by integrating design cues from the brand’s 80s cross-country skiing model, the KARHU Holmenkollen. The result is a modern slip-on interpretation that bridges performance heritage with contemporary craftsmanship.

    Founded in New York in 1999, Engineered Garments aims to create garments that become more personal through the experiences you have with them. The brand values unique garment construction with attention to detail, meaning, and hidden qualities behind each design. They are not designed, but engineered. The KARHU x Engineered Garments Mestari Slip On embodies this mindset with a functional yet elevated design. The shoe features a unique, slip-on design with a secure cover and hook and loop closure system. Through muted, earth-toned aesthetic, this collaboration honours both brands’ storied history of craftsmanship.


    The KARHU x Engineered Garments Mestari Slip On reinterprets this classic silhouette through a distinctive laceless design inspired by KARHU’s 80s cross-country skiing models. The upper combines hairy suede overlays with suede and nylon underlays, creating depth and dimension within its tonal execution. A suede cover with hook and loop construction, delivers both functionality and a clean, structured look. Debossed and printed co-branding highlights the collaborative identity, while a leather ankle lining enhances comfort and finish. Underfoot, a foam footbed with arch support works together with KARHU’s signature Air Cushion technology to provide stability and cushioning.

    Size guide

    STEP 1

    Place a piece of paper on the floor with one end against the wall. Put your foot on the piece of paper with your heel against the wall.

    STEP 2

    Take a pencil and mark the end of your longest toe on the paper. Repeat for your other foot.

    STEP 3

    Measure in cm from the wall (heel) to the longest point (toe). Take the larger measurements. Than take what you measured + 0.5 CM and compare it with our shoe sizes in the size chart.

    There was no size chart under the model which i bought

    There was no size chart (it doesnt show anything) under the model which i bought that's why i bought standart 39 and there were too small, only 3 mm i need more , only 3 but this information i saw only on my shoes box. It's so strange for me...

    I never wanted to order sneaker online because im afraid of size issues. My friend convenienced me to not fear. My European size is 43/43.5. I ordered 43.5 but in reality is smaller than 42 despite labelling shows its 43.5. Both says its EU size. So I wont order sneakers online anymore. Resending from a small village is complicated, most probably this sneaker will be a gift for a child.
